Since 2021, Kansas has received opioid settlement funds to address the impact of addiction. Saline County and the City of Salina are projected to receive over $1 million across 13 years. After funding a community needs study, the County and City are partnering on a grant program to distribute these funds locally. A joint agreement is set to take effect September 15, followed by the creation of an Opioid Grant Review Committee.
