The board duties shall include the election of officers from its membership, selection, employment, review and discharge of the Administrator, responsible to see that an annual review, evaluation and report of community mental health services is made to the county commissioners, preparing and submitting the annual plan and budget and making recommendations thereon, responsible to assure that there are adequate policies for the operation of the center and employment of personnel, housing of the center, community and public relations.
Board Information
The board is composed of 9 members of the following counties: Saline 4, Dickinson 2, Ellsworth 1, Lincoln 1, and Ottawa 1. Membership shall include at least one member who is or has been a consumer of mental health services and one member who belongs to a family who is or has been a consumer of mental health services.
The Board shall hold a minimum of nine monthly meetings each year, of which one shall be an annual meeting. Meetings are generally held the third Monday of the month at 3:00pm at the Central Kansas Mental Helath Center located at 809 Elmhurst.
